At Issue Panel CBC, Thursday April 12th, 2018. The voice of reason spoke with the ever educated Chantal Hébert, Canadian journalist, regular Panel host with Andrew Coyne of the National Post, revealing the “Elephant in the Room” no-one wants to talk about.

” There is also the Indigenous nation and their role is this story and increasingly that well is being poisoned against Kinder Morgan and for Justin Trudeau it is one thing to have a pipeline strategy that says I want a pipeline that goes off the rail, it’s another if at the same time his hope of Reconciliation with Indigenous people is also poisoned by the same part”

However, the silent absentee from the panel, Mr. Clark Campbell from the Globe & Mail notes, “Kinder Morgan’s chief executive, Steve Kean, said the company doesn’t want to start pouring in $200-million to $300-million a month on construction if it can’t finish it. Kinder Morgan can deal with regular risks but not a provincial government that is “openly in opposition,” Mr. Kean said.

Mi’kmaq Aboriginal Pasteur Richard Paul notes “Kinder Surprise is really on a tear with $200 million a month expenditure without securing Open Market Bonds. He’s dreaming of Oil, in Wonderland.”

Noted “after Grand Chief Membertou and his family converted to Christianity in 1610, the land of the Mi’kmaq had become exempt from being seized because the people were Christians. However, it’s hard to imagine that a modern government would fall back and try to use such uncivilized garbage as justification for non-recognition of aboriginal title.[34]wikipedia (Chief Jean-Baptiste Cope signed a Peace Treaty in 1752 on behalf of theShubenacadie Mi’kmaq.[37])”

Mi’kmaw Historian Daniel Paul observes that;

If this warped law were ever to be accorded recognition by modern legalists they would have to take into consideration that, after Grand Chief Membertou and his family converted to Christianity in 1610, the land of the Mi’kmaq had become exempt from being seized because the people were Christians. However, it’s hard to imagine that a modern government would fall back and try to use such uncivilized garbage as justification for non-recognition of aboriginal title.[34]
