Hero dog saves the day in Ottawa!!

April 27th, 2016 | by admin

According to the Ottawa Citizen;

“Ottawa Fire Services is crediting the canine senses of a retired sled dog named Moss for alerting apartment dwellers to a major fire on Spadina Avenue at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire started in 24 Spadina Ave. but quickly spread to 22 Spadina Ave. and 26 Spadina Ave. No word on what caused the fire or estimated damages. However, no one was hurt as a result of the early morning blaze.

On Wednesday morning, Red Cross was on the scene handing out aid to those affected by the fire. An OC Transpo bus was also on the scene acting as a temporary shelter. The residents affected were being moved to a nearby hotel to provide temporary accommodations.

The fire was reported under control before 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported.”

So let’s hope the mayor of Ottawa can save us all from this burning city? Since he cannot seem to smell his own policies.
